Saturday

8:30 am Student arrival and check-in. Breakfast snacks provided.

9:00 am Introduction: How this class came about.

9:30 am Slideshow: The elements of a good photo; how to cook, plate and garnish for the camera while keeping it all edible.

10:30 am Demo:  High-end restaurant plating vs. home-style plating. Using salads to illustrate the difference between the two presentations.

11:45 am Lunch break

12:45 pm Demo:  All about chicken. Roasting, sautéing and frying, adjusting color, plating and garnishing.

1:45 pm Demo:  Sandwiches, which breads work best, to slice or not to slice, condiments and other additions.

2:30 pm Hands-On:  Participants make their own plates with any of the food from the days demos.

3:30 pm End

Sunday

8:45 am Student arrival and check-in. Breakfast snacks provided.

9:00 am Demo: Breakfast foods, eggs all ways, bacon, pancakes and syrup pours.

10:30 am Demo: Classic family dinner, meatloaf, green beans, potatoes and gravy. How to cook, color, plate and garnish for the camera.

12:00 pm Lunch break

1:00 pm Demo: How to construct beautiful bowls, from breakfast bowls to health-packed veggie bowls to pho.

2:30 pm Hands-On: Participants make their own plates with any of the food from the days demos.

3:30 pm End
